Windows 7 [Business / Ultimate]

Go to control panel and search for “Administrative Tools“
New window will open in there select “Local Security Policy“
Now select “Software Restriction Policies“
Expand ”Software Restriction Policies” and Click on “Additional Rules“
Now right click on ”Additional Rules” and select “Add Path Rules”
Select the path for avnotify.exe [Default it is C:\Program Files\Avira\AntiVir Desktop\avnotify.exe]
Now right click on ”Additional Rules” and select “Add Path Rules”
Select the path for ipmgui.exe [Default it is C:\Program Files\Avira\AntiVir Desktop\ipmgui.exe]
Make the security level as “Disallowed” and click OK
After this restart your system

Windows 7 Home Premium

Go to Avira Antivir folder
Right-click “avnotify.exe” and select properties
Click on security tab.
Under the group or username SYSTEM click edit
Put a checkmark under the DENY column for “read and execute“
Now click apply then OK
After this restart your system
